Produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, the film featured John Abraham and Genelia D’souze where John essayed the role of an honest cop who takes on the dark forces of the drug trafficking world. Fast paced, thrilling and exciting Force created a lasting impression in the audience’s mind.
Now, Vipul Shah is ready to re-create the thrill of Force with a sequel titled Force2. For the film, John Abraham has been roped in and Abhinay Deo will be behind the camera. Abhinay Deo is the director behind films like Delhi Belly and critically acclaimed TV show 24.
Vipul, who has had a great run at the box office with Commando, Force and Holiday says, “Force2 read as Force Square is an original script and will be an action thriller peppered with romance. The story is more layered and John will come back in a more power packed role. Abhinay Deo has a very stylized way of storytelling so we are working towards a very slick and intense film.”
Force2 will go on floors this September and will have a 2016 release. Considering the popularity of the first film, one can expect a dark,exciting and enthralling action masterpiece thanks to Vipul’s vision, Abhinay’s penchant for storytelling and John’s talent.
