Reliance Entertainment‘s Ranveer Singh starrer Cirkus had a disappointing Christmas opening at the UK Box Office. Despite a wide release in 129 locations, the film directed by Rohit Shetty underperformed collecting just £72,006 over three days from its release date 23rd December 2022.
In comparison, Ranveer Singh’s last Christmas release 83 opened at £182,518 from 123 locations in 2021. Cirkus collected £29,044 in its second weekend (30th Dec – 1st Jan) from 75 locations, with a site average of £387.25. The total collections of the film stand at £177,710.
Yash Raj Films‘ release Drishyam 2 is still going strong in its 7th weekend playing in just 9 locations. The film collected £8,498, with a high site average of a £944.22. The total gross of the film stands at £440,150.
