Salman Khan’s ‘Bharat’ to be filmed in London

Ali Abbas Zafar, who has directed Salman Khan in Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai, will reunite with Khan in Atul Agnithotri’s Bharat.

The film will be shot across locations in London, where Khan has previously filmed Jaanam Samjha Karo, Jab Pyaar Kisi Se Hota Hai, Salaam-E-Ishq, Veer and London Dreams among other films.

Interestingly, Salman & Jacqueline starrer Kick, helmed by Sajid Nadiadwala, was also to be filmed in the British capital. However, Khan was denied a working visa due to his court proceedings in India. The schedule was subsequently moved to Poland.

“The film spans between his age of 8 years to 65 years. So he will be seen in different age groups in the film. And we are right now doing full research with our Indian and international teams to figure out what is the right way to go about it, whether it is prosthetics or whether it is VFX, how to go about all those things. So we are working on that,” Ali told The Indian Express in an interview.

Salman Khan last year performed in the UK for The Dabangg Tour in Birmingham and London along with Sonakshi Sinha, Prabhu Deva, Daisy Shah, Jacqueline Fernandez and others.
