Rising star of Indian cinema, Sushant Singh Rajput, features alongside Anand Tiwari and Bengali actress Swastika Mukherjee in principle roles, supported by an exceptional ensemble including Divya Menon, Neeraj Kabi, Meiyang Chang, Mark Bennington and Shivam. Every attention to detail has been paid in recreating 1940’s Calcutta and the mid-Second World War turbulence, entrenched in richly dark atmosphere and menace. This first of its kind detective film is an adventure thriller mired in deep political intrigue. A young, astute and intelligent Byomkesh, fresh out of college, pits himself against a mega world villain, depending more on his intuition and instinct rather than concrete proof to solve the case, sometimes sidestepping the law if needed.
