‘Gabbar’ is an out-and-out Akshay Kumar film

The director of Akshay Kumar’s forthcoming film Gabbar has clarified that the film is an out-and-out Akshay Kumar film.

Sunil Grover, a famous stand up comedian who has also done a few films, was recently rumored to be playing the parallel lead role in Gabbar.

Krish, the director of the film, clarified that Sunil has an important supporting part but not a leading role.

“The film is a mix of comedy and drama. It’s too early to reveal the intricacies of the characters,” added the director.

Gabbar is produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures.
