The first look poster of John Abraham from Race 2 was unveiled today by UTV Motion Pictures and Tips Films.
John, who was last seen in Housefull 2, plays the role of Arman Mallik in Abbas-Mustan’s much-awaited sequel to the UK hit Race (2008).
The Vicky Donor producer was reportedly approached for Akshaye Khanna’s role in Race. But as John had already committed his dates for other projects, he could not do the movie. More over, the makers of Race required him to have a much leaner look, which was not possible as he had bulked up for various movies.
When John was approached for Race 2, the actor immediately agreed to be a part of the action-thriller.
Race 2 is set to release across UK cinemas on 25th January 2013.
