Prakash Jha’s next film Chakravyuh has been invited to the prestigious London Film Festival for a world premiere in October. The director is elated.
“It’s a prestigious festival which provides good exposure for the film. But it is not opening the festival. It has been invited for a world premiere,” Jha, whose Mrityudand opened the London Film Festival in 1997, told IANS.
Chakravyuh is a story about two best friends, one a cop and another who becomes an antihero Naxalite revolutionary, as tables turn friends become sworn enemies.
The world premiere of the film at the 56th London Film Festival will be held at the Empire Cinema in Leicester Square on 11th October 2012 at 19:30.
Eros International will release Chakravyuh on 24th October 2012 nationwide in the UK.
