Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra has said that she was narrated the full script of her upcoming film following media reports that she was only narrated the role of her character.
Speaking to BollyNewsUK during Barfi! promotions in London, Priyanka laughed off the reports and said: “I was narrated the film completely. But the film morphed a lot. It changed a lot from the time I was narrated it and said ‘I have to do this film’ to what it has turned to being. I forgot in the middle what the film is about.”
The Dostana actress went on to say that she did not require to know about the changes in the script. “I did not need to know. As Jhilmil, the character, I did not need to know what the film is about. I just needed to know what Anurag said and that was a blind faith and trust that I think, we all three of us had in him.”
“I really think that he is one of the finest filmmakers in the country,” added the 30-year-old actress.
Produced by UTV Motion Pictures, Barfi! directed by Anurag Basu, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Ileana D’Cruz is set to release on 14th September 2012 in the UK.
