Yash Raj Films has released the second song promo Banjaara from Ek Tha Tiger on YRF’s YouTube Channel.
Tiger ( Salman Khan) is in the mood to flirt with the leading lady, Zoya (Katrina Kaif) , as he romances her in Dublin. The first promo MashAllah notched up over 2.5 million views and became a smashing hit within a few days and it is expected that this song will continue to add to the phenomenal buzz of the film.
Banjaara is sung in an iconic fashion that is typical of Sukhwinder Singh. The song is orchestrated according to the Irish and Celtic region’s musical style and performed with the same energy and flavour.
The song has a very strong influence of violins and footsteps which is original in all Irish folk music. Listeners are treated to a magical blend of acoustic guitars, bouzouki, darbuka, drums, strings, bagpipes and the accordion, along with melodic vocals in this number.
Directed by Kabir Khan and Produced by Aditya Chopra, the romantic-thriller stars Salman Khan & Katrina Kaif in the lead roles and is scheduled for an August 15th 2012 release in cinemas worldwide.
