Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan is set to make Olympic history as London 2012’s first torch bearer from the Indian film fraternity.
Amitabh Bachchan will carry the world-famous Olympic Torch at 10.30am on Thursday 26th of July when it makes its way through the London Borough of Southwark.
Bachchan will reportedly wear the official London 2012 track suit and jog through the Southwark area carrying the Olympic torch.
The 69-year-old actor broke the news on popular micro-blogging site Twitter.
The Indian superstar is expected to attract huge crowds tomorrow as Bollywood fans will try to catch a glimpse of the star.
