Jimmy Shergill gets the maximum vote for Best villain of 2014

While some actor’s en-cash their brand value, other work hard to create an unconventional scenario in Hindi cinema and one such extraordinary talented actor is Jimmy Shergill.

After carving a niche for himself in the Hindi and Punjabi industry in his almost two decades long career, this versatile actor has now gradually started getting his deserved recognition.  According to a recent poll, Jimmy got the maximum votes for the best actor in the negative role for his movie ‘Fugly’.

Jimmy has mostly done off-beat and unusual roles in his career varying from a chocolate boy in Mohabbatein to a serious character in Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster, A Wednesday and Special 26 to a romantic one-sided lover in Tanu Weds Manu series. Jimmy has always given justice to his every character.  He has also proved that whether it is full-fledged role of a cameo in movies like Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. series, Hum Tum, My Name Is Khan, he has always successfully won the hearts of the audience.

Well with such masterpieces in hand, we are sure Jimmy Shergill has a long way down in the industry!

Trailer: Tanu Weds Manu Returns

Eros International has released the theatrical trailer of their much-awaited next release, Tanu Weds Manu Returns.

Tanu Weds Manu Returns is the sequel to Tanu Weds Manu (2011) and stars Bollywood queen Kangna Ranaut, R Madhavan, Jimmy Shergill & Deepak Dobriyal.

The film is directed by Anand L. Rai and  produced by Krishika Lulla along with the director. Eros International will release the film in UK cinemas on 22nd May 2015.

Fans and guests will be wowed as their favourite Punjabi screen idols will introduce their latest film at a world exclusive in the UK. Aa Gaye Munde U.K. De is the follow-up installment in one of Punjabi cinema’s most popular franchises, directed by doyen of Punjabi cinema Manmohan Singh, on general release on 8th August, presented by Trehan Productions and being released by Yash Raj Films.

First Look: Aa Gaye Munde UK De

Mundey UKDirector Manmohan Singh is back with AA GAYE MUNDE U.K. DE with superstars of Punjabi Cinema, Jimmy Shergill, Neeru Bajwa, Gurpreet Ghuggi, with Om Puri.

When Roop (Jimmy Shergill) sees Disha (Neeru Bajwa) it’s love at first sight. Both are from the same city, both are young, both are educated and both are perfect for each other having been born and raised as Punjabi’s – a match made in heaven…. Or so thinks Roop.

The grass is always greener on the other side and Disha’s father Dilip Singh (Om Puri) – a foreign return Punjabi believes that only an NRI is a suitable match for his princess. The NRI’s are more educated, classy, cultured and all round more worldly. For him the local boys just don’t make the cut.

It is now that Roop must not only hide his true identity from the love of his life Disha but also her father to win over his bride with a little help from his best friend DJ (Gurpreet Ghuggi).

On a mission to stand up for all the local Punjabi boys Roop decides that he must fake it to make it. Roop enters Disha’s life as an NRI and wins her over but how far can he pull off this farce before his plan falls apart.

It is now that Roop, Disha and the 2 families go on a roller coaster ride of fun, frolics, traditional values, emotions, love and romance in a bid to find a perfect end to a perfect love story.
