Confirmed Mohit, “My characters always have an edge or something unusual about them. I wanted to introduce Shraddha differently in the film. Ten years back, I was shooting Zeher with Udita. We were put up in a small boutique hotel in Goa when she asked for a car. In those days we didn’t have major budgets. She borrowed a Bullet belonging to a hotel worker and rode it. I had never seen her like that. I decided that this was the girl I wanted to be with. So that’s where I got the idea of Shraddha’s character of a wanderer.”

Sidharth Malhotra, who was launched by Karan Johar in Student Of The Year and is currently filming for Hasee Toh Phasee, has signed another film.
The lady with her Balaji luck, Ekta Kapoor along with the director who recently donned the groom’s hat, Mohit Suri have roped in Sidharth for their action flick, tentatively titled The Villian.

“We have confirmed Sidharth Malhotra for our film with Mohit Suri. Sidharth has become hugely popular with the youth after Student of The Year and has the appeal, looks and intensity to carry a commercial action-romantic thriller on his shoulders. He is tomorrow’s angry young man, and believe that he is the right choice for this film” says Tanuj Garag, CEO of Balaji Motion Pictures.
Sidharth will start filming the movie after the shooting of his much talked Hasee Toh Phasee starring Parineeti Chopra is wrapped up. The female lead opposite Sidharth in The Villain is yet to be finalized.
