Yash Raj Films’ latest release Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar has had a positive opening at the UK Box Office. The film released mid-week on 8th March 2023 across UK and Ireland cinemas.
The film collected an impressive £194,217 from 119 locations in its extended opening weekend, with a very good site average of £1,632.08. The Ranbir-Shraddha starrer made its debut at No.9 on the official UK Box Office charts for the weekend 10th-12th March. The total opening weekend gross includes £51,148 from 100 previews.
Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan, also a Yash Raj Films release, collected £11,052.00 from 21 locations in its 7th weekend. The total gross of the title stands at £4,363,583.
Oscar-award winning Indian film RRR had a small re-release in UK cinemas over the weekend 10th-12th March playing in 7 locations where it collected £2,216, with a site average of £316.57. The total gross of the film still hasn’t surpassed the £1M mark at the UK Box Office, despite several small re-releases since its release in 2022.
