UK Box Office: ‘Salaam Venky’, ‘Vadh’ fail to bring in cine-goers

Kajol starrer Salaam Venky has failed to attract audiences over its opening weekend at UK cinemas. The film also stars Vishal Jethwa and features a cameo by Aamir Khan. 

Salaam Venky opened on 9th December in 17 locations, collecting  £4066 over the weekend, with a site average of £239.

Drishyam 2, released by Yash Raj Films, is continuing its dream run at the UK Box Office in its 4th weekend. The film took £16,757 from 22 locations, with a site average of  £761. The total gross of the film is now at £384,266.

Varun Dhawan starrer Bhediya collected £3147 from 5 locations in its 3rd weekend, with a site average of £629.  The total gross is at £78254.

Yash Raj Films’ new release during the weekend Vadh also opened poor. The film earned just £2699 from 16 locations, with a site average of £168.
