UK Box Office: ‘Ponniyin Selvan: I’ continues its dream run

Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan: I has continues its dream run at the UK Box Office in its third weekend, 14th-16th October.

The film is currently the highest grossing Indian title of 2022 at the UK Box Office and the third Indian title of the year to cross £1M here.

In its third weekend, the film screened in 48 locations, collecting  £49,334.29, with a site average of £1,027.80. The total cumulative UK Box Office gross stands at  £1,220,696.98. In Ireland, the film screened in 4 locations bringing £1,203.64, with a site average of £300.91. The total gross stands at £80,137.73.

The weekends new Indian title produced by T-Series, Doctor Gopened in 70 locations. The film made its debut with £42,343.88, on a site average of £604.91. In Ireland, the film opened at £1,737.77 in 4 locations, with a site average of £434.44.

Reliance Entertainments Code Name: Tiranga opened this weekend in 35 locations, raking in  £5,771.03, with a site average of £164.89.

Disney’s Brahmastra Part 1: Shiva is in 13 locations in its sixth weekend and earned £1,220.96, with a site average of £93.92. The total gross of the film stands at £1,034,943.63. The film is set to release on Disney’s Hotstar UK streaming service on 4th November 2022.
