Paramount Pictures UK’ upcoming Bollywood title Laal Singh Chaddha has been classified with a 12A rating by the British Board of Film Classification for its UK cinema release. It is set to release nationwide from 11th August 2022.
Starring Bollywood superstars Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan, the film is an official adaptation of Academy Award winner Forrest Gump, also a Paramount title.
The film is produced by Viacom18 Motion Pictures and Aamir Khan Productions, and is directed by Advait Chandan.
The BBFC classification of 12A means that no one younger than 12-years-old may see Laal Singh Chaddha in a cinema unless accompanied by an adult.
The classification notes state that the film depicts moderate violence, domestic abuse, bloody images, and suicide references.
