Dharma Productions’ Hindi family entertainer Jugjugg Jeeyo entered the UK Top Ten Box Office Charts at No.6 in its opening weekend.
The film starring Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, and Kiara Advani released in UK cinemas nationwide on 24th June in 107 sites by distributor Moviegoers Entertainment. It collected a decent £163,648 with a site average of £1,529.
The film is also the second highest opener at the UK Box Office for an Original Hindi Film in 2022 so far. Paramount’s Gangubai Kathiawadi starring Alia Bhatt remains the highest opener this year with £243,848 (including limited previews) from 150 sites.
Indian action-thriller Vikram, released by DG Tech LTD in three versions; Tamil, Telugu and Hindi, took £6,032 from 4 locations in its fourth weekend, with a site average of £1,508. The total gross of the film stands at £780,580.
This week Zee Studios’ Rashtra Kavach OM and Yash Raj Films’ Rocketry – The Nambi Effect will release in UK cinemas.
