Aamir Khan-Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer and official Indian remake of Tom Hanks’ Forrest Gump, Laal Singh Chaddha is set to be released by Paramount Pictures UK nationwide on 11th August 2022.
The original film was directed by Robert Zemeckis and won six Academy Awards, including Best Picture.
Produced by Viacom18 Studios, a subsidiary of Viacom 18, a joint venture between Paramount Global and TV18, the Indian adaptation is directed by Advait Chandan and co-produced by Aamir Khan Productions.
Laal Singh Chaddha features Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mona Singh and Chaitanya Akkineni.
Touted to be one of the biggest releases of the year, the trailer of Laal Singh Chaddha was launched with huge fanfare on television amidst the finale match of the T20 Cricket Tournament
The film also brings together the successful pair of Aamir and Kareena Kapoor Khan post the blockbuster 3 Idiots.
