Reliance Entertainment’s 83 has caught up with the UK box office collection of Sooryavanshi, the highest grossing Indian film of 2021.
The Kabir Khan directed sports drama has added £2,809 in its seventh weekend (04-06.02) from 8 sites, bringing the total to £584,343. Sooryavanshi‘s total gross at the UK box office stands at £584,469.
Ahan Shetty’s debut film Tadap, directed by Milan Luthria, still running in its tenth weekend, raked in £1,084 from eight sites, with a total now at £190,316. The film is a Fox Star Studios production and released here by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures UK. The UK is the only territory outside of India, where the film is still showing in cinemas.
The Malayalam coming-of-age drama Hridayam, released by RFT Films, earned £23,758 from 68 sites in its third weekend bringing the total gross to £155,561. The film took in an additional £1,905 from 6 sites in Ireland, where Qualite Entertainment released the film, reaching a total of £33,334.
Zee Studios’ Badhaai Do will open in UK cinemas this week.
