Karan Johar, who had signed late Bollywood superstar Sridevi for his production venture, Abhishek Varman’s Shiddat, is reportedly looking for her replacement after the sudden demise of the 54-year-old actress.
However, a source close to the filmmaker, says, “Karan was extremely fond of Sridevi and they shared an amazing relationship. He doesn’t want to rush to find a replacement right away. That is certainly not on his priority list.”
“It’s just two weeks since Sridevi passed away. Reportedly, Karan will soon sit with the team and will decide who they want to approach for the role that was offered to Sridevi. All other speculations are baseless,” added the source.
Shiddat will also see Varun Dhawan returning to a Dharma Production produced film.
