British singers Zack Knight and Jasmin Walia (TOWIE, Desi Rascals) have had their Bollywood music debut with chartbuster ‘Bom Diggy Diggy’, which has been revisited for a Bollywood rom-com.
The song will feature in Bollywood comedy Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety starring Kartik Aaryan and Sunny Singh.
Since being published on YouTube last week, the promotional video has accumulated over 13 Million views. The original music video, released last year, featuring both Zack and Jasmin, stands at 52 Million YouTube views.
Jasmin Walia released her first single in 2016 featuring Zack Knight called “Dum Dee Dee Dum” and gained popularity from thereon, especially among British Asians. She subsequently also performed at the BBC Asian Network Live concert at Hammersmith Apollo. However, Walia was turned down on the British version of X-Factor back in 2014 as Simon Cowell and the other judges didn’t find her singing voice good enough. Check out her audition here:
Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety is set to release in UK cinemas on 23rd February.
