Eros’ latest epic Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus Bajirao Mastani that released on December 18 to thundering applause from media and audiences worldwide won a grand total of 9 awards. Sanjay Leela Bhansali won Best Director and Ranveer Singh took home the Best Actor Award. The film also won Best Cinematography, Best Art Direction, Best Sound Design, Best Costume Design, Best Dialogue, Best Choreography and Best Actor in a Supporting Role.
The biggest blockbuster of 2015, Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan won 5 awards including Best Film, Best Screenplay, Best Story, Best Actor in a Supporting Role and Best Child Artist.
While Deepak Dobriyal of Tanu weds Manu Returns, the super hit family entertainer, grabbed an award for Best actor in a Comic Role, Nawazuddin Siddiqui won Best Actor in a Negative Role for Badlapur.
