Following a successful premiere at Berlin Film Festival, Highway director, Imtiaz Ali, and lead actress, Alia Bhatt, visited London to interact with press, following a screening of the film. Prior to a Q&A session, for the first time the exclusive video of the already acclaimed song, ‘Pataka Guddi‘, featuring music maestro, AR Rahman, was launched.
In speaking about her role, Alia Bhatt said, “The journey was so overwhelming for me personally because whatever happened, my character’s reaction would be my personal reaction as well and that would get captured on camera. Whatever journey my character Veera went through I went through personally as well.” About the Berlin audience’s reaction, she added, “It was the first time any of us saw the final cut of the film as well. What struck me most was how the audience seemed to immediately understand it.”
Highway is distributed worldwide by UTV Motion Pictures and presented by Sajid Nadiadwala, releasing on 21st Feb 2014 worldwide and on 20th Feb 2014 in the UAE.
