The Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, who met with top film and TV producers in Mumbai last November, said: ‘With Bollywood producers already making films in London I am keen to strengthen links between our city and one of the world’s great film centres. I’m thrilled that Saif Ali Khan is coming to London to support an eagerly anticipated Bollywood film. As well as offering superb productions facilities and unbeatable backdrops, London offers a massive audience for Bollywood films, and I want Indian filmmakers to think of it as their home from home.’

Setting a whole new benchmark in Bollywood film promotions in the UK, the Race 2 London City Visit will induce no less than the wow factor, in keeping with the glitz, glamour and grandeur of the long-awaited sequel, courtesy of event sponsors Hippodrome Casino, Jemca Car Group, Travelpack, Chak 89 and Washington Mayfair Hotel.

The Race 2 London City Visit will welcome the hottest property of the Bollywood fraternity to London’s Hippodrome Casino. Bollywood’s most svelte leading man, Saif Ali Khan, will take part in a press conference amid the grandiose and luxe surrounds of the prestigious venue. And for the very first time, the screen hero will be wowing fans and audiences as he makes his first ever public appearance at one of the UK’s biggest Bollywood hotspots, Cineworld Feltham, in the evening.

A Tips Films release, distributed by UTV Motion Pictures and directed by film making mavericks of the high-octane action genre, Abbas-Mustaan, Race 2 promises to overtake the staggering, global success of its prequel, bigger, better and bolder than before. Set against the horseracing backdrops of Dubai and Durban, the film features the crème of Bollywood talent.
