Director, Sajid Khan, has left no stone unturned in recreating the seminal, 80’s film song classic, ‘Tathaiya Tathaiya’, for the upcoming Himmatwala remake, presented by UTV Motion Pictures. The filmmaker has reinterpreted the original for contemporary audiences, giving them a chance to relive the yesteryear screen magic of superstars, Jeetendra and Sridevi, back in the 80’s.
UTV Motion pictures has acquired the rights of the original song from Saregama and they are delighted with the association. Head of Music at Saregama India Ltd, Adarsh Gupta, said, “Saregama is looking forward to the association with versatile Director Sajid Khan and Disney UTV for their upcoming block-busters. Together we will revive the very happening era of music from the 80s.”
Himmatwala is directed by Sajid Khan, starring superstar Ajay Devgn and starlet from the South, Tammanah. The film is produced by UTV Motion Pictures and Vashu Bhagnani and is all set to hit UK theaters on 29th March 2013.
