Reema Kagti, the director of Talaash, has said that her film starring Aamir Khan, Rani Mukherji and Kareena Kapoor Khan is not a thriller, contrary to popular belief.
The much-awaited film is produced by Excel Entertainment and Aamir Khan Productions. Speaking to BollyNewsUK, Kagti said: “The film is set against the backdrop of a police investigation in Mumbai.”
“Although, the story has a lot of suspense, the main core of the film is very emotional and that is why Talaash is a suspense drama and not a thriller,” said the director.
“I am really excited for the release. The cast and crew have worked really hard and we have put our foot forward,” added the Honeymoon Travels Pvt. director.
Talaash is released in UK cinemas on 30th November 2012.
