UTV Motion Pictures,Three’s Company and Hari Om Entertainment Co. have just released the first trailer of Akshay Kumar-Sonakshi Sinha starrer Joker, directed by Shirish Kunder online.
The trailer of the new film has a line saying – “When being Human doesn’t work, try BEING ALIEN!”.
Being Human is Salman Khan’s charity brand and the trailer was shown to him by Shirish Kunder before he launched it. Reportedly, Salman approved to usage of his charity brand name in the trailer.
Speaking about it Shirish says, “It is my dedication to Salman. He was in my first film (Jaan-e-Maan) and now I’m directing him again in Kick so I wanted his association in Joker too in some way. In Joker, the reference is that to get Paglapur in the spotlight Akshay had to create a tamasha with aliens.”
“When he approached the issue in a straightforward way, he couldn’t do anything. So, the line says to get attention you need do so something outlandish even if it means getting aliens for help. I told Salman about it and he has liked it. He found it really funny,” added Kunder.
Joker is UTV Motion Pictures next offering with the successful pairing from Rowdy Rathore – Akshay Kumar & Sonakshi Sinha. The movie releases in the UK on 31st August .
