London Paris New York is the ultimate modern love story for 2012 and tells the quirky tale of two star-crossed, twenty-somethings, who find themselves drawn to each other in the most unlikely of circumstances, amidst the exciting backdrop of three of the world’s most vibrant cities – London, Paris and New York.
Aditi Rao Hyadari speaks about her latest release to BollyNewsUK.
Tell us what’s special about London Paris New York?
It’s in the way the story’s been told.
How was the experience of working with Ali Zafar?
Ali is very cute! I have always been an Ali Zafar fan. When I met him, I found him way cooler than I thought he was. It was great fun working with someone as philosophical, sorted, and at the same time as naughty as Ali.
Do you enjoy Singing? How did it come about that you sang a track for the film?
I don’t like talking about my love for singing. Once I started humming when Ali and producer Goldie were talking about a few songs and they said, ‘Hey, you can sing!’. They convinced me to sing two tracks for the movie – a beautiful love song and a naughty one. Ali, who composed the music and even sang for the film, especially created a song for me.
Did you receive any musical guidance or training from Ali Zafar?
As a music director, Ali is a task master. Frankly, I used to get scared of him. He used to constantly remind me to practice my song. In case he thought I was slacking, he used to ask me to come on Skype to rehearse! He’s a chilled out actor, but as a music director he is completely the opposite, very stern and slightly serious.
London Paris New York is released through Twentieth Century Fox on 2nd March 2012.
