It is official! Karan Johar has recently announced that ‘Dostana 2’ will go on floor next year. It is the sequel to the 2008 film Dostana. Katrina Kaif will reportedly play the female lead, replacing Priyanka Chopra.
After the mega success of Dostana, the news of its sequel has already created a buzz in the media. Fans are very excited about Katrina being the lead actress in Dostana 2. Lead actors, John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan are ready to rock the big screen again.
This time, the setting of the sequel has been relocated from Miami to London. The director ‘Tarun Mansukhani’ is all set to start the shoot as the script has been finalized and Karan himself is extremely excited about it.
The story moves to London as Abhishek’s mother in the film, Kirron Kher who lives here plans something with the two boys. Tarun Mansukhani visited the British capital last summer for a recce and revealed that the film will be shot in Southall as well as in new locations which he seems quite excited about.
However, as the location scouting was done last year it seems likely that Mansukhani will be back for a second recce. A source from Dharma Productions also told us that the project will take off next year in March..
