‘Teri Meri Kahaani’ to have a UK Premiere? (21st June)

Kunal Kohli’s next Teri Meri Kahaani featuring Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra will reportedly have a UK Premiere  in June.

The film, produced by Kunal Kohli Productions and Eros International was extensively filmed in  UK locations such as Stratford-upon-Avon, Nottingham and Yorkshire last year. The story of Kohli’s fifth directorial spans over three-time periods whereas the current time period, 2012 is set in England.

BollyNews UK has learnt that the film will have a Premiere in London on 21st June 2012 which will be attended by both leading actors, Kunal Kohli and producer Vicky Bahri.

According to our source, the premiere will take place at a west-London cinema. However, we will have to wait for a confirmation from the producers.

Kunal Kohli, who was in London for the last few days, says that the journey of love is something that has always fascinated him.

The Mujhse Dosti Karoge director says: “Films like DDLJ, KKHH, Hum Tum, Fanaa have taken the audiences into a journey of love that’s been entertaining and romantic. This is the kind of cinema, I like, love and live! The banter between the couple, the chemistry, the first look, the pain and anguish of separation, the fun and ‘masti’ of the meetings, the dreaminess of love songs, the ‘adaa’ the hero gets while flirting with that one person who suddenly is the most important person!

“The joy, fun, tears and entertainment of our Hindi Cinema is at its peak in our Love Stories ! This is exactly the journey that I went through while writing Teri Meri Kahaani, and this is exactly the journey I want to take you through. The performances and chemistry of Shahid and Priyanka, the lyrics of Prasoon Joshi, the Music of Sajid-Wajid and my words, this June it’s all about love, thrice upon a love story, Teri Meri Kahaani,” added Kohli. 

Teri Meri Kahaani will release through Eros International in the UK.
