Lionsgate UK will release Indian title KILL starring Lakshya in UK cinemas from 5th July nationwide. The film is written and directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat and stars Lakshya, Raghav Juyal, Tanya Maniktala, Hars Chhaya, Ashish Vidyarthi, Abhishek Chauhan, and Parth Tiwari.
Kill is produced by Karan Johar, Guneet Monga, Apoorva Mehta, Achin Jain. It is the first Indian title to be released by Hollywood studio Lionsgate in the UK and USA. The film premiered at Toronto International Film Festival last year followed by WME Independent, which handled global sales for the title, brokering this historic deal with Lionsgate.
Synopsis: When army commando Amrit (Lakshya) finds out his true love Tulika (Tanya Maniktala) is engaged against her will, he boards a New Delhi-bound train in a daring quest to derail the arranged marriage. But when a gang of knife-wielding thieves led by the ruthless Fani (Raghav Juyal) begin to terrorise innocent passengers on the train, Amrit takes them on himself in a death-defying kill-spree to save those around him — turning what should have been a typical commute into an adrenaline-fuelled thrill ride.
Kill is in cinemas 5th July from Lionsgate UK
