UK Box Office: ‘Fighter’ stays low in second weekend

Sidharth Anand’s Fighter has stayed low in its second weekend at the UK Box Office. The Hrithik Roshan & Deepika Padukone starrer has continued to underperform.

Despite a wide release for the film, released by Viacom 18 Studios, it only collected £148,963 over the weekend 2nd – 4th February, a -75% change from its opening. The film played in 156 locations, with a change of -98 from its previous weekend. The site average of the weekend came to just £955, with the total cumulative gross standing at £888,788.

Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki, released by Yash Raj Films, continued to screen in its seventh weekend. The film collected just £3,644 from 17 locations, with a site average of just £214. The total gross of the film is at £1,696,056.

Other Indian titles which opened on the weekend 2th – 4th February include: Warning 2 – £53,638 from 39 locations, Ambajipeta Marriage Band – £10,950 from 46 locations, Bachelor Party – £2,392 from 10 locations, Life Line Of Bachelors – £1,161 from 7 locations.

This week, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya starring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon will open in UK cinemas.
