UK Box Office: ‘Hanuman’ stays atop in second weekend

Telugu film Hanuman was the No.1 Indian title at the UK Box Office over the weekend 19th-21st January 2024.

The film raked in £67,956, a -54% change from its debut weekend, from 53 sites, with a site average of £1,282 bringing the total to £276,576. In Ireland, the film collected an additional £3,305 from 5 locations with a total gross of £11,720.

Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dunki only collected £15,346 in its fifth weekend from 20 locations, a -54% change from its previous weekend collection, with a site average of £767. The total gross of the film stands at £1,679,536.

Pankaj Tripathi starrer Main Atal Hoon opened on 19th January in 38 locations and collected £11,391, with a site average of just £300.

Animal collected £4,386 in its eight weekend at the UK Box Office from 7 locations, with a site average of £627. The total gross stands at an impressive £2,401,942. The film has crossed the lifetime gross of Rocky aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, becoming the third-highest Indian grosser of 2023.

Katrina Kaif’s thriller love story Merry Christmas has failed to attract cinegoers. The numbers of cinemas playing the film were drastically reduced to just 8 sites, a -57 change from its debut weekend. The film collected £2,771 with a site average of £346 in its second weekend. The total gross of the film stands at £34,227.
