Shah Rukh Khan’s latest film Dunki, released by Yash Raj Films, opened at No.3 on the official UK Box Office chart.
Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film had a 4 day opening weekend and was rated 15 by the British Board of Film Classification for its UK release on 21st December 2023.
Over the first four days of release, 21st-24th December, the film raked in £707.495 from a high number of cinemas; 244. The site average came up to a healthy £2.924. The opening gross includes £186,158 from 244 previews.
Prabhas starrer Salaar also opened on 21st December with select previews. The four day opening weekend collected £514.638 from 176 locations, with a site average of £2.242
Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal played in 62 locations in its fourth weekend, collecting £43,645, with the total gross running up to £2,220,015.
