Animal has set the UK Box Office ablaze. It has become the fourth Indian title to cross the £2M mark in 2023, that too just in its third weekend, despite being given an 18 classification by the British Board of Film Classification.
Released by AA Films, the Ranbir Kapoor starrer has collected £181,960 from 119 locations, with a site average of £1,529 over the weekend 15th-17th December. The total gross of the film so far stands at an impressive £2,064,200.
The only other Indian films to cross the £2M mark in 2023 are Pathaan, Jawan, and Rocky aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.
Also in its third weekend, Vicky Kaushal starrer Sam Bahadur collected £10,503 from 14 locations, with a site average of £750, with a running total gross at £90,990.
Yash Raj Films’ spy universe film Tiger 3 has dropped even further in its fifth weekend, earning just £8,255 from 24 locations, with a site average of £344. The film stands at a cumulative gross of £1,529,980.
