Yash Raj Films’ Salman Khan & Katrina Kaif starrer Tiger 3 had a strange Sunday opening day on 12th November earlier this month. The film had limited previews on Saturday, 11th November and opened at a total of £425,668 from 271 locations. The film didn’t feature in the official Box Office chart for the weekend 10th-12th November, as this is only included for films that open on that Friday or earlier.
In the first reporting of Box Office figures from its official first weekend, technically the second weekend from 17th-19th November, the film was reported at 168 locations with an opening gross of £1,184,001. The film is performing much lower than the recent YRF Spy Universe film Pathaan, which is currently the highest grossing Indian film of all time in the UK.
Zee Studios released Khichdi 2 in 10 locations on 17th November, where the film collected £6,797 with a site average of £680.
Karan Johar’s directorial Kuch Kuch Hota Hai also screened in select UK cinemas over the weekend. It was re-released across 13 locations collecting £6,059, with a site average of £466. The total gross of the film is at £1,831,397.
