Punjabi film Carry On Jatta 3 starring Gippy Grewal and Sonam Bajwa opened to good numbers at the UK Box Office. The film was released in UK cinemas on 30th June, with previews starting on Thursday 29th June.
The film collected a very good £231,886 from 63 locations in the weekend 30th June – 2nd July, with a high site average of £3,681. The weekend gross includes £45,446 from 57 previews.
Satyaprem Ki Katha, produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Namah Pictures, starring Kartik Aryan and Kiara Advani opened big in India but had an underwhelming response at the UK Box Office in its opening weekend in comparison. The social drama also opened over the weekend 30th June – 2nd July to £113,991 from 80 locations, with a site average of £1,425. The film collected an additional £5,333 from 10 locations in Ireland, with a site average of £533.
Vicky Kaushal starrer Zara Hatke Zara Bachke collected £ 1,517 in its 5th weekend from 3 locations with a site average of £506. The total gross of the film stands at £153,548.
Indian epic Adipurush has massively dipped at the UK Box Office after a lukewarm opening. In its third weekend, the Hindi version of the film screened in just 6 locations, collecting £1,107 with a site average of £185. The total gross of the film is at £239,917. The Telegu version of the film, also in its third weekend, played in just 2 locations, grossing only £96, with the total standing at £140,383.
