When a glowing Priyanka Chopra Jonas arrived at the famed stairs of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City to attend fashion’s biggest night yesterday, usherers, attendees and even museum staff literally broke into “Wow”, “Awesome”, “That’s beautiful”.
In keeping with the theme of ‘Karl Lagerfield: A Line of Beauty’, Chopra Jonas paid a fitting tribute to the German designer by wearing a Valentino black cady strapless dress with black bow detail and leather gloves along with a black faille cape with white bow.
For her beauty look, she was very much inspired by Lagerfield’s famous quote, “I love classic beauty. It’s an idea of beauty with no standard,” revealed her makeup artist Sarah Tanno. Chopra Jonas and Tanno unanimously decided to combine classic and modern glam and the results were jaw dropping—glowing skin, fluffy lashes, rose toned lip and cheeks, and classic winged liner.
