Shah Rukh Khan has broken UK Box Office records for an Indian title with his new film Pathaan, released by Yash Raj Films on 25th January 2023.
The Siddharth Anand directorial has become the highest-grossing Indian title of all-time at the UK Box Office, dethroning Dhoom:3, also a Yash Raj Films release. Pathaan broke the record and reached #1 in just 10 days, on its second Friday, 3rd February 2023 scoring £2.827,239. The life-time collections of Dhoom:3 at the UK Box Office stand at £2,710,853.
As per latest data compiled and supplied by comscore, the film has achieved a new milestone and has become the first Indian title to cross £3M at the UK Box Office. Pathaan collected £701,103 (3rd-5th February) over its second weekend with a record-breaking total cumulative gross of £3,347,070. The film dropped to #4 from its opening weekend of #2 on the UK Box Office chart.
Pathaan is on course to become the first Indian title to cross £4M at the UK Box Office.
The film is also on an incredible run at the Indian domestic and international box office and has now collected an impressive $101.49M. Pathaan has recorded $38.68 million in territories outside of India alone breaking records in India, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, United States/Canada, UAE/Gulf states for an original Hindi title.
