Yash Raj Films is set to release Kuttey in UK cinemas this week. The film starring Naseeruddin Shah, Tabu, Arjun Kapoor, Konkona Sensharma, Kumud Mishra, Radhika Madan & Shardul Bhardwaj will be released across cinemas on 13th January 2023.
The film is a Luv Films & Vishal Bhardwaj Films production, directed by Aasmaan Bhardwaj and produced by Luv Ranjan, Vishal Bhardwaj, Ankur Garg, and Rekha Bhardwaj.
A caper-thriller, the film marks the feature directorial debut of iconic filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj’s son Aasmaan Bhardwaj. The film follows the story of rival groups each who plan the heist of an armoured truck carrying a large amount of money.
The British Board of Film Classification has given the film a 15 rating as it features strong language, sexual violence and sexual threat, and strong violence.
Kuttey marks the fourth LUV Films production that Yash Raj Films will release in the UK, having previously distributed De De Pyaar De, Jai Mummy Di, and Malang. YRF is also set to release Luv Ranjan’s next directorial Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor on 8th March 2023 in UK cinemas.
