The world’s most influential film and entertainment brand, EMPIRE, has named Bollywood royalty Shah Rukh Khan as one of the greatest actors of all time in a list published online.
The magazine published a list featuring 50 greatest actors, with Khan being the only Indian appearing on the list.
The list was compiled after readers were asked to vote for the best actors of all time and is part of the February 2023 issue of the magazine, which is on sale in the UK on 22nd December 2022.
Shah Rukh Khan is the most successful South-Asian actor in the UK with numerous of his films breaking Box Office records here even over 20 years ago, with many of his titles grossing over £1M with limited releases such as Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge.
Khan has notable social media following with over 33.5M followers on Instagram, 42M followers on Facebook, and 42.9M followers on Twitter.
The actor will next be seen in Yash Raj Films’ Pathaan, releasing in UK cinemas on 25th January 2023.
