“Ferrari Ki Sawaari is about three generations” – Vidhu Vinod Chopra

Ferrari Ki Sawaari, a heartwarming film about a young father’s endeavor to fulfill the dream of his talented ten year old son, is Vinod Chopra Films’ first release after 3 idiots, the much acclaimed and highest grossing film in the history of Hindi cinema. Produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, directed by Rajesh Mapuskar, written by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Rajesh Mapuskar with dialogues by Rajkumar Hirani, Ferrari Ki Sawaari stars Sharman Joshi, Boman Irani and Ritwik Sahore with a song appearance by Vidya Balan.

In an interview with BollyNewsUK, Vidhu Vinod Chopra said: “It’s a film about three generations; the young kid, a twelve-year-old, his father Sharman Joshi, who has done an incredible job in the film and his father, played by Boman Irani. Boman is a dejected, disheartened and unhappy cricketer. The young kid wants to play cricket and the disheartened grandfather does not want to encourage him.”

“It is really a film about these three people and also, it’s a film about Ferrari as the title suggests. It’s about a Ferrari being stolen to send this young boy to Lords and then that car gets stolen itself, so it is a fun movie, a lot of fun. But mainly it is about family, added the producer.

Ferrari Ki Sawaari will release on 15th June 2012 in the UK through Eros International.
